Hello my name is Ruth Yang, and I have been working as a contract legal professional for 6 years since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. What sets Hire Counsel apart is the little things they do that add up to make a huge difference. One concrete example of a simple thing they do is their timesheet submittal process. Hire Counsel was the first and only firm that I have worked for that had an online timesheet submittal program. This seems like an obvious and very minimal improvement, but it makes a world of difference for contract attorneys. The ease of being able to “punch in” online makes a huge impact on efficiency. This saves the attorneys a lot of time, and cuts down greatly on miscommunications and missed connections in the time submittal process. Not having to worry and untangle timesheet mistakes allows the entire team to focus on our work and be more productive. The system also automatically computes one's time for them thereby cutting down on computational time and mathematical errors; after all we are lawyers, not mathematicians.
